So this business has been around forever and they used to be good… I just paid $30 for 2 subs, which is normal cost these days however this sub, the club sub to be exact had exactly 1 thin slice of Turkey and 1 thin slice of ham, and not even the good lunch meat, the square processed lunch meat you get cheap at the grocery store, I basically paid for bread… the bread was good, but there was no meat, all you tasted was onion mayo and bread… I mean I know times are hard right now and the economy isn’t the greatest…. But when you order a club you expect there to be meat on it. They must be struggling hard to put out that kind of quality sub. If you think subway is bad with their meat.. you haven’t seen anything yet. I would not ever waste money here again unless they change their quality. I used to really love this place, and I enjoy supporting small local businesses, but this was a total rip off.

This place used to have THE BEST grinder in town. I ordered the Greater Grinder. It was very good, but certainly nothing I would be super excited about. It's kind of sad really. I was really excited to try it. I ended up eating the whole 12" sub. Normally when I buy a sub at Jiffy Mart I can only eat half of it because they put so much meat in it.

I love the smell of this place! Staff was friendly and helpful! And check this!!! I got my sub without bread! I live on he low carb life!! And it was perfectly made! It’s great to eat out and have restaurants work with you. Love them!

Never been here till today but this is the best sub shop in Hampton roads. Got the steak and the greater grinder, i didn’t know they don’t put mayo on their subs, the grinder didn’t need it, but I added to the steak when I got home. Both the subs were FIRE! will definitely be back!!!

One of the best submarine shops in Portsmouth, and possibly in Tidewater! Love the fresh baked soft sub rolls and delicious sliced lunchmeats. I love the Super Greater Grinder with sweet peppers.

1/10. I always try and support local but this was literally the worst sandwich I’ve ever had. $24 for two sandwiches. I got salami and cheese (pictured) which looks and tasted like bologna. No choices on cheese no topping other than Lettuce, tomato, onion. They toasted everything including the lettuce so it was hot Mayo hot lettuce etc. I threw the whole thing out after two bites and left. Staff was friendly but it took 15 minutes to get two sandwiches when there was no one else in the store.

Since new management has taken over its just not as good. Got a ham and cheese...they put 2 paper thin slices of ham on there. The bread is great...but if I am paying that much for a sub, I should at least nit be able to see thru the ham that's on there.

Went to pick up a couple subs tonight. Ordered 2 Super Grinders. What I got was way short of that. No pepperoni, no cheese, no lettuce, sparce on the peppers and so on. Called to let them know and was told that the only way to get help was to take them back. No can do.... Not enough time. We have been eating there for years and always great. But tonight was a different story. And no offer to make it right or ask questions was just terrible. But I did pay for the super. Great subs and great people. If you want a fantastic sub just go there. You'll be happy you did.
